ABY v`s RS2 MAF

Finally car off to get clutch sorted so urgrade can finally begin.

Going RS2 spec basically and will post details as and when starting

In the meantime, does it make the difference having the RS 2 Maf with

RS2 EM
RS2 IC
Greens

Adapted ABY air box

or shall I just stay with the ABY MAF?

If you need to renew the MAF then deffo get the RS2 item - the screens are less restrictive and the price is fine.

A healthy ABY MAF is no real drawback though - we are talking about small benefits on those screens - but obviously Porsche saw fit to add them... You can easily descreen an ABY MAF though - safe in knowledge there is nothing after your air filter to stop large things being inhaled !!!!

No difference in diameter / air flow apart from the restrictions made by the gauze ?

Only difference is the screen... dimensionally & electrically they are the same animal !

No real difference that a slight gauze mod wouldnt solve.

All good news then.

God I cant wait to get my avant back on saturday with RS2 clutch in so can start the upgrade.
